Day 4: Carmel + 17 Mile Drive

17 Mile Drive is definitely worth the fee to get in (less than $20 per car). It has beautiful scenery throughout the entire drive. When you enter they give you a map of all the stops you should take! (Photos are not in chronological order since we kind of did it backwards!)

Day 3: from SF down the coast

We started our morning off at Dottie's cafe- one of the best breakfast places we have been to in San Francisco! After a few mimosas and delicious breakfast we were off to Baker Beach. We tried making it the night before, but the transportation system was not in our favor. 

I wish I could remember the name of the first beach we stopped to see. 

We came across Pigeon Point lighthouse through highway one. 

Day 2: San Francisco

The second day of our trip included driving from our hotel in Modesto, to San Francisco, which later turned into lounging in Oakland for the night.

Ocean Beach almost made you feel like you weren't in the city.

The fog seemed to come and go throughout our day, it definitely followed us to Lake Merced. This lovely lake has a golf course and some fishing spots!

Last time, we visited Coit Tower for a closer view of downtown, financial district and the bay. Our stop before driving into Oakland was Twin Peaks, this is is by far one of the best spots to get a complete overlook of the city. 

Day 1: Yosemite National Park

The first stop on our road trip this year was the much anticipated Yosemite National Park. We were able to spend a decent amount of time exploring the different hikes and views it has to offer. I definitely would love to lodge inside the park next time to be able to hike more!
